1. Determine section (or cemetery) which you will transcribe. (A map of the cemetery is to be found here.)Be sure to check with Mr. Cook to make sure the section has not already been covered. 2. Decide on how you or your team will cover the section or cemetery. Be sure to cover each grave marker. The best method is to go row by row, or divide the section/cemetery into quadrants. 3. Locate the veterans grave within your row or quadrant. Click here for some samples of gravestones and what you need to record! 4. Collect the data on the record sheet. You can also obtain copies from Mr. Cook. You can also make your own as long as it has all the information on it! 5. Give the record sheet/ data to Mr. Cook.
