This month NHS member Carol Weber will be demonstrating English Paper Piecing, a technique dating back to the 1770s that uses paper templates as fabric stabilizers to ensure hand sewing complex angles, such as the hexagon shapes found in some quilts. Free and open to the public - visitors can even learn the basics! You can also visit the Nunda Museum, Rose Shave Gallery, or do research on your family and property.

The Historical Society Building is open the following hours - Every Tuesday 10 AM to Noon; and the 1st Sunday of the Month from 2 to 4 PM or by appointment. You can call 585-465-0971 for an appointment or more information.
