There are many ways in which
local history can be use in the classroom and homeschool environment.
Nundahistory.org invites educators and other interested individuals
to send lesson plans which use Nunda area history.
To facilitate the process,
we offer the following quidelines and suggestions:
- the lesson or activity
must be related to Nunda area history and suitable for children
- you must provide and allow
us to post an email address or other contact information with
your plan
- all plans and materials
are subject to review by the Nunda Historical Society and nundahistory.org.
We will not make any changes without contactingthe submitter.
- you can use any lesson
plan format you are comfortable with, but we suggest you include
goals, procedures, and materials
- lessons can use materials
already on the site, or you can supply addition primary and secondary
material
- no copyrighted materials
can be posted unless they are accompanied by written permission
from the copyright owner.
- plans and documents can
be submitted via email to the webmaster or Nunda Historical Society.
For suggestions on sending files to use, click here.
