When Nunda Central School was formed in 1939, it became necessary to operate a fleet of buses to pick up the children who had previously attended the rural one room school houses. The community was proud of its six buses and drivers. The photographs of these buses and drivers are from a photograph album in the Nunda Historical Society collection. The labels are taken directly from the album |
