2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the Flood of 1972. This natural disaster, caused by Hurricane Agnes, was considered at the time as the costliest natural disaster in American History. The Nunda Historical Society is gathering local memories of the event. At this time we are collecting information including photographs, video and other documentation of the flood and its impact, including family memories. These materials will be added to the NHS archives and eventually be shared on this webpage. We hope you will be willing to share your memories (and any photos you have) with us! To begin, just print off the Memories worksheet found below and send it to us electronically, by mail, or drop it off at the Museum when we are open!
