Two views of the Woodworth Knife Works

Postcard from a private collection

This postcard view shows the Woodworth Knife Works building which once stood on Woodworth Lane. For more information on this famous Nunda Business, see Nunda Knives: A look at the Woodworth's Knife Works and A Visit to the Woodworth Knife Works in 1888.

The card is postmarked December 17, 1909. It is addressed to a Mrs G.E. Gillette of Perry NY. The card reads "My sister Minnies address - Mrs. F.H. Davis, Albion NY" and is signed "Very Best - F.E. Woodworth". Fred Woodworth was one of the owners of the Knife Works.

The card was published by the Albert M Wilson, Buffalo NY.

The view below is from an undated mounted photograph, probably taken around 1900.
